Our Story
Hi, I’m Aaron Hendrick, the founder of Noraa Pickleball. As a former nationally ranked tennis player and collegiate All-American, I’ve been an athlete my whole life.
As my college career came to a close and I was inducted into the Aquinas College Athletic Hall of Fame, I started thinking my competitive sporting days were behind me.
But when I started playing pickleball with my former teammates, I realized our best athletic accomplishments could still be ahead of us.
To offer players high-performance paddles at reasonable prices — and inspire athletes of all ages to keep improving — I started Noraa Pickleball.
After designing and play-testing many prototypes, and gathering feedback from former collegiate athletes, I landed on the flagship paddle. This USAPA-approved paddle can be used in sanctioned tournaments, so Noraa athletes can gain points for their pickleball ranking.
Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Noraa is on a mission to bring people together through pickleball. Whether you are a first-time player or long-time competitor, we believe the best is yet to come.
